About us

St. Macrina Counselling Services is a registered charity governed by a Board of Directors (#851685909RR0001).

We engage the services of professional counsellors and therapists to provide opportunities for healing and growth for individuals (children, adolescents, and adults), mixed couples, families and groups.

We also collaborate with different organizations in the Greater Toronto Area including St. John the Compassionate Mission, Zone One (downtown Catholic parishes), Lourmel House Refugee Program, St. Mary of Egypt Refuge, and Good Neighbours Drop-In (Scarborough). We believe in a team approach networking with other professionals: clergy, psychiatrists, psychologists, physicians and others.

We operate on three guiding lights:

1) We offer person-centred, faith-respectful, faith-based counselling;

2) Our goal is to offer professional services regardless of a person’s ability to pay for counselling or therapy;

3) We believe in a team approach and networking with other professionals: clergy, psychiatrists, psychologists, physicians, and others.

FEES

At St. Macrina Counselling Services, we offer a sliding scale, which may allow for discount services to those who require them. Those who have workplace benefits may have insurance coverage through their employer. Our aim is, whenever possible, to offer professional counselling services regardless of a person’s ability to pay for services.
